Back on Track  Sep 19th 2006                                                    Stats * Gallery * Comment

Behind Kevin's 23 points, Chi's 20 points, and Shi's 16 points, Demolition came
out roaring and opened the game with a 17-3 run. However, PWC fought back and
came within 1 point, 25-26. Demolition then responded with a 13-2 run powered by
Shi's 7 points during the stretch. The game wasn't close after that and Demolition
won the game by 15 points and earned
team of the week honor.

Demolition was not the only team getting back on track.
2004 led a balance attack,
took an early lead  and never looked back against Wilmer Hale (poor guys...
having to play 3 asian teams back to back to back... they must think they are in the
wrong league). In the end,
Ricky Kim had 22 points. Chanan and Che chipped in
17 and 15 points each, respectively.

Shogunz had a tough outing. With just 3 players, it had to ask Jack and Jon to
help out.
Sammy, as always, led the team with 18 points. Jack added 10 points.
However, in the end, there weren't enough guards to balance the court and the
team took a tough loss. Nonetheless, Shogunz will look to get right back into the
thick of things when CT, Johnson and the rest of company returned.

Side Note: All the best to Myla's little brother, Mark. Hope he feels better soon!

Another Tough Loss  Sep 26th 2006                                  Stats * Gallery * Comment

Shogunz had another tough outing last night. After tying the game with 25
seconds to go, Shogunz put Cambridge Associate back on the free throw line.
Then, after Peter and Johnson missed the potential game winners, the ball went
out of bounds with 2 seconds left. After the time out,
Myla popped out the screens
and had a great look. Unfortunately, the ball fell short and hit the front of the rim.
Johnson had 23 points and Peter added 11 points. The road gets tougher for
Shogunz as they match up against MJ Remodeling, last season's finalist.

2004 had another easy outing against Aza Aza. After starting the game 17-0, 2004
never looked back and won the game by 25 points.
Ricky Kim scored a game high
30 points and had a couple nice passes.

Demolition was in a dogfight with Digitas for the first 15 minutes of the game, but
then broke the game open and ended the half with a 9-1 run. In the 2nd half,
Digitas had a couple strong comebacks but eventually fell short after two costly
technical fouls. Due to a more quality win, Demolition won
Team of the Week
honor once again.
Kevin had a night high 31 points and Shi added in 14 points.
