Shogunz, behind Johnson's 42 points, snapped their four games losing streak
and beat one of the best teams in the league, that featured 5 players over 6 feet
and 2 players over 6'8''. After getting off a slow start, Shogunz really started
playing great team defense and was able to shut down Giant's transition game.
With Johnson provided most of the offense and Christian chipping in with 9 points,
Shogunz blew the game open in the end and won the game by 15 points. Shogunz
hopes to carry this momentum to next week's showdown with Demolition.

On the other hand,
Demolition almost defeated the #1 team, MJ Remodel. Kevin
again came out firing and scored a game-high 31 points. Chi Lai also put up 16
points, but in the end, Demolition wasn't able to come up with key baskets and lost
a close game. They will need to regroup as they prepared for next week's matchup.

2004, playing without its leading scorer, did not have much problem with
Cambridge Associate. Leading comfortably by double-digit for most of the game,
2004 faced a scary comeback run by Cambridge Associate as one of their
shooters made 6 straight three-pointers. Nevertheless, Ralph stepped up late in
the game and secured the win for the team. Kenny led the team with 15 points as
all six players were able to score in double figure.
