After being spurned for the opening Canesblog.com profile, we caught up with
the LAMpire to discuss his thirst for blood on and off the court.
CB LAMB: Thank you for taking the time to interview with us. We really
appreciate it. I wanted to start off by asking you what you thought of the
canesblog website, and all the postings that are up there.
J-Lam: You know dude, I've got to tell you, I think that the website is great.
CB LAMB: It is pretty amazing how far up the charts the JLam thread has
gone, it's got over 400 views...but anyways, when did you first start playing
basketball?
J-Lam: I'd say I probably started playing basketball at 12.
CB LAMB: Wow! 12! You've played on a lot of teams and had a lot of
teammates since then...out of all those teams/teammates who would you say
your favorite teammate is?
J-Lam: There are and have been so many great players...but I think my
favorite would have to be Ribs. He always defends the other team's best
player and passes me the ball.
CB LAMB: Well that's not hard to see why he'd be your favorite teammate
then, he's smart for giving you the rock and if he wasn't on your team, he'd
probably be covering you!
J-Lam laughs: Yeah dude, yeah!! Ribs is great!
CB LAMB: You always seem to be having fun on the court, what's the secret?
J-Lam: How can you not laugh when you see Dez trying to backpedal and fall
flat on his ass in the Montreal Tourney??
*The room erupts in laughter*
CB LAMB: That's true...good point as always. Well we've taken up a lot of
your time...as a last question, what would you say is your all-time favorite
Cane moment?
J-Lam: That's a tough one, there have been a lot of great times...but I think
as a baller, the ultimate goal is winning the championship. So I'd have to say,
when we overcame the hump, like the Bulls finally beating the Pistons, and
beat CYC for the first time and won the National title!
CB LAMB: With you on the team, it's no wonder it all happened! Thanks for
being such a great athelete and inspiration to all of us and having taken the
time to do this. We (everyone in the world) really appreciated this!
